It is my pleasure to welcome you to SLV PU College. Our institution believes in molding every student into a good citizen, instilling in them qualities of integrity, leadership, and personal charisma. Our mission is to expose students to all kinds of challenging environments and help them overcome practical hurdles, thus making them wholesome and fully intellectual citizens of this nation. We emphasize promoting and facilitating quality education of the highest standards. To achieve this, the institution provides a strong infrastructure, fully equipped laboratories, and a well-stocked library.

Devaraj Urs Education Society has successfully carved a niche in the education sector since 1983-84. With an impeccable track record of 40 years, the ultimate aim of our education system is to create a wholesome personality or a person fully alive—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Any lopsided development of personality is detrimental not only to the individual but also to society. As Vedic Rishis have rightly pointed out – 'Atmanam Buddhi', which means 'Know Thyself', students must develop introspection. To develop such skills of self-introspection, they must be encouraged to express their emotions and thoughts in words.

All great ideas begin with commitment to the future. The aim of establishing a PU College by our Education Society was to satisfy the needs of the talented students community of Chitradurga. The quest for excellence and the urge for quality education with commitment, the PU College has expanded enormously with its strength and obtained fame and recognition by all and sundry across Chitradurga district.

The Motto of the PU College is to "Educate for making successful citizens of tomorrow". Therefore, our education aims at making children capable of becoming responsible, productive and useful members of society. All these qualities are inculcated among the students by creating a congenial environment in the school to learn by analyzing and evaluating their experiences with scientific temper, blended with sound character, by reasoning out their doubt and investigating by thinking independently.

The PU College is situated at the prime location and is quite accessible to the citizens of the Chitradurga District. The PU College has a very good ambience and has got all the latest amenities to suit the present requirement of modern society and technology. Now, PU College is practicing necessary tools and techniques of evaluation for students to develop complete personality.

We possess an excellent team of academic staff and everyone is perspiring extremely well for the career excel of wards. The blend of academics with cultural and sports activities has resulted excellently.

Children are akin to seeds, and as parents and teachers, our role is akin to gardeners rather than sculptors. Our duty is to nurture children rather than impose our will upon them. The inception of Indian International School was rooted in the belief that quality education should be accessible to all, irrespective of their backgrounds.

I firmly believe that every child possesses the inherent qualities necessary for success, including truthfulness, living in the present, love for all, resilience, forgiveness, and curiosity. Drawing from my years of experience, I have recognized the pivotal role schools play in academic development, but it's the parents who hold the key to nurturing emotionally balanced individuals. Therefore, I advocate for the establishment of more schools dedicated to fostering healthy parenting and teaching practices. Let us unite to shape a brighter future for our children.
